My name is Amanda McAlpin and I'm a wedding photographer who's never met a stranger with a heartfelt approach to marriage and faith living in sweet home Alabama. I'm married to a handsome youth minister who, after 14 years, still makes me belly laugh on a daily basis. Together, we have two precious children with big hearts and big personalities and three very large dogs who think they're humans.
I believe my job as a wedding photographer is so much more than just showing up on your wedding day and taking pictures. I believe in building not just a professional relationship but a friendship throughout a bride's wedding planning process. I realize that most bride's have never planned a wedding before which is why, from our very first conversation, I walk them through the entire process, providing information and helpful tips for their big day. I like to maintain open communication with bride's during the months leading up to the wedding, always offering support, direction and planning when needed.
On the wedding day, I believe in not only loving and serving the bride and groom, but also their family and friends. From entertaining an active ring bearer to providing tissues to a teary mother of the bride to assisting an elderly grandmother to her seat, my desire is to provide a relaxed and loving wedding day experience for everyone involved.
